About Women Who Weld

We are cooperative group of artists who specialize in welded metal sculpture.

Women Who Weld began as an informal group of women who found a common interest in welded metal sculpture. The women met in 1998 during sculpture classes at Clark College and soon discovered that sharing their passion for welding created strong friendships. They began to meet regularly to share ideas and techniques and to provide each other with artistic support.

Besides cooperating to enhance our individual artistic paths, they also create collaborative artworks. See our "Quilt."
